We're Coming Back!

Shadows Embrace has been around since 2008, and in that two years we have had a lot of good times, from BC raids to Icecrown.  Every now and again, we experience some down time.  However, I think the time is right to start recruiting a new core and setting out a new path for this old guild.  In light of the fact that the majority of the guild will be new members, I have reset guild progression stats.  With Cata on the way, it's time to fill up with quality players that want to make all the new bosses dead.  Interested?  Read on!

What We Are Looking For, Exactly

Our goal is to have at least one solid raiding core of 10 players, each well versed in thier specific class and role and able to maximize their own potential contributions to our overall success.  Raid awareness is not an asset, it's a must!  We intend to run a very well balanced group with few duplicate classes (commonly known these days as a rainbow group) in order to have a little bit of everything we might need to make raids work smoothly.  We are NOT looking for slackers or those who wish to be carried, as is also extremely common these days.  We have met enough of those types of players in the past and don't really have any patience for it anymore.  Don't worry, we're not hardasses and love players with good senses of humor and a casual attitude, but we also want to kill stuff!  If you're someone who is capable of meeting these requirements and pulling your own weight, please apply.

The Pre-Cata Plan

Pending the time frame it takes to get our group assembled, our tentative Pre-Cata plans simply involve running Icecrown Citadel to get to know each other and become a more cohesive team.  Of course, when Cata does drop, there will be time to explore the new content and reach level 85.  Then it's brick hitting time!
